Week ending May 16, 2024megamillionswinningnumbersNet soybean sales in the United States in 2023/24 were 279,400 tons, 5% higher than last week, but 15% lower than the four-week average. Major buyers include Japan (73,500 tons, of which 50,000 tons were transferred from unknown destinations, and sales decreased by 100 tons), unknown destinations (70,700 tons), Egypt (55,000 tons), Costa Rica (31,500 tons), and Indonesia (25,300 tons, of which sales decreased by 100 tons), but sales to Thailand decreased by 44,500 tons and sales to Mexico decreased by 3,300 tons. Net sales in 2024/25 were 65,500 tons, sold to unknown destinations (60,000 tons), Indonesia (6,000 tons), China Taiwan (5,000 tons), and Japan (100 tons), but sales to Malaysia decreased by 5,600 tons.

Exports during the week were 258,800 tons, a record low for the year, 42% lower than last week and 28% lower than the four-week average. Major destinations include Mexico (87,800 tons), Japan (61,200 tons), Indonesia (24,000 tons), South Korea (20,400 tons), and Vietnam (16,500 tons).
